Dr. Nabil Z. Nasr, Director of RIT's newly commissioned Golisano Institute for Sustainability, will present the Keynote Address at Ink Jet Inks & Media 2008. This new marketing/technical Seminar presented by The Tiara Group, LLC, takes place at the elegant Westin Resort on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.

The Golisano Institute, funded by a $10 million donation from Paychex founder and CEO, Mr. B. Thomas Golisano, plans to offer the first PhD program in sustainability research and education. The concept of sustainability lies at the heart of efforts to protect the Earth's environment, preserve our planet's resources, reduce our carbon footprint, and discover alternative means of energy generation.

Dr. Nabil Nasr is Assistant Provost for Academic Affairs and in 2002 was named Director of the Center for Integrated Manufacturing Studies (CIMS) at the Rochester Institute of Technology. He is also the founding director of the National Center for Remanufacturing and Resource Recovery. In the past, he has taught several workshops for industry in manufacturing facility planning and design, production planning, factory automation, and numerical control. In 1997, he founded the National Center for Remanufacturing and Resource Recovery.
